Dr Manuel Izquierdo García is National Medical Director of the IVF-Life Group and a consultant gynaecologist specialising in Reproductive Medicine at IVF-Life Madrid. He previously served as the Group’s Medical Quality Director.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Spanish MIR programme at Fundación Jiménez Díaz University Hospital, where he also worked in the field of Human Reproduction. Throughout his career, he has worked at several specialist centres, combining clinical practice with medical leadership, quality management and team management responsibilities.
His extensive clinical experience and approachable manner enable him to provide personalised support to patients undergoing assisted reproduction treatment.
Dr Manuel Izquierdo specialises in reproductive medicine, assisted reproduction, gynaecology and obstetrics, infertility, in vitro fertilisation, intrauterine insemination, egg donation, fertility preservation, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. His experience also includes laparoscopy, clinical quality management, medical leadership and the coordination of specialist fertility teams.
Dr Manuel Izquierdo takes part in educational and public engagement activities relating to fertility, assisted reproduction and medical support throughout fertility treatment. His leadership experience also includes training and coordinating healthcare professionals, updating clinical protocols and supporting the continuous improvement of patient care processes.
