We continue with Puregon®, a purified version of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), which provides more consistent and controlled ovarian stimulation. Thanks to recombinant DNA technology, this medication offers less variability and more safety because it protects against germs smaller than viruses called prions.
Orgalutran® is another important participant in this journey. The drug prevents the premature release of eggs, ensuring that they’re fully mature. By blocking the release of FSH and LH hormones, it enables greater control over the timing of ovulation.
Saizen® is a synthetic form of human growth hormone. This drug improves the quality of the eggs by affecting the cellular environment where they develop.
Granocyte® is a medication prescribed for patients with embryo implantation failures. It’s an immunomodulatory drug that helps to control the immune system, enabling pregnancy and childbirth rates to be increased following fertility treatment.
Then there’s Prolutex ®, which is essential for preparing the lining of the uterus for implantation and for supporting the early stage of pregnancy. Prolutex® is administered subcutaneously, which may be more comfortable and easier to administer.
Finally, we present Ovitrelle®, which is used to trigger ovulation after ovarian stimulation. It’s a recombinant form of HCG that’s used to generate the LH peak that causes ovulation.
Decapeptyl® is used to inhibit the production of hormones that regulate the menstrual cycle, such as gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), prior to an ovarian stimulation process. This allows greater control over the menstrual cycle and helps to prevent premature ovulation during the ovarian stimulation process.
On the other hand, Pergoveris® serves to stimulate the growth of ovarian follicles, thus facilitating the collection of mature oocytes. It contains exogenous FSH and LH to control ovarian stimulation and is adjusted according to the needs of each patient.
Meriofert® is a brilliant solution that combines the hormones FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) to help the ovaries produce and release eggs. This drug provides extra help to the ovaries when they need it to cause the development of several follicles and therefore eggs.
