The IVF-Life Group is further consolidating its dedication to scientific research in assisted reproduction, marking a significant presence at the next edition of the event to be held in November. IVF-Life continues to bolster its commitment to research and scientific excellence. A total of ten studies carried out by researchers from its laboratories have been selected for presentation at the National Congress of the Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR), one of the most important events in the field, to be held from November 12 to 14 in Barcelona.
The selected works address some of the most current challenges in the field of assisted reproduction, such as improving embryo implantation rates, the impact of ICSI techniques, embryo quality, the influence of maternal age, and sperm selection. All of these studies have been accepted in poster format, except for the study led by Ismael Vilella, which has been chosen for an oral presentation, a recognition reserved for the most relevant research at the congress.
The principal investigators of the selected studies are Llanos Medrano, national laboratory director at IVF-Life; Alessandra Parrella, Nuria Soler, and Ismael Vilella from IVF-Life Alicante; Alba Alarcón from IVF-Life Madrid; and Mario Fernández and María Velasco from IVF-Life Donostia.
The studies cover topics ranging from the use of cytokines in cryotransfers to the analysis of the optimal timing for assisted hatching, as well as comparative studies on sperm selection techniques and multicentric research on embryonic chromosomal status.
This outstanding participation in ASEBIR 2025 reflects the team's ongoing work, innovation, and scientific commitment. It represents a new opportunity to share knowledge, generate debate, and advance towards more personalized, effective, and humane reproductive medicine.
