Dr Paloma Baviera Royo is a consultant gynaecologist specialising in assisted reproduction at IVF-Life Alicante. She specialises in reproductive medicine, women’s hormonal health and menopause, with more than 15 years of clinical experience. Her professional background includes fertility care, benign gynaecology, obstetrics, urogynaecology, pelvic floor surgery, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. During her specialist training, she gained clinical experience in fertility medicine within dedicated reproductive medicine units.
Between 2019 and 2025, she worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Head of the Gynaecology Service at Acibadem International Medical Center in Amsterdam. She previously worked at Rivierenland Hospital and Beatrix Hospital and completed subspecialty training in urogynaecology at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam.
Alongside her clinical work, she has experience in medical training, teaching and public health education. She is the founder and Medical Director of Dr. GYNN, a platform focused on women’s hormonal health, menopause, preventive medicine and lifestyle, and is the author of a book on these areas published in 2025.
