Dr María José Iñarra Velasco is a specialist in Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine at IVF-Life Donostia clinic. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra and is a specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and in Family and Community Medicine. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction.
Throughout her career, she has worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist in various hospitals within the public healthcare systems of Navarre, La Rioja and the Basque Country. In recent years, her professional activity has focused mainly on assisted reproduction, a field in which she has worked both in private centres in Donostia-San Sebastián and in the Assisted Human Reproduction Unit of the University Hospital of Donostia since its creation.
Her career combines clinical practice, university teaching and scientific contribution. She has participated in national and international congresses, collaborated on book chapters and clinical protocols in reproductive medicine, and works as a lecturer in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country.

Dr María José Iñarra Velasco works as a lecturer in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country (Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea), San Sebastián campus, where she delivers several annual lectures in this specialty.
She has also contributed to the writing of textbook chapters on updates in reproductive medicine and to protocols of the Spanish Fertility Society.
Dr María José Iñarra Velasco has participated in national and international congresses, mainly related to assisted reproduction. Her scientific activity includes oral presentations, collaboration on medical update documents, and the development of professional protocols in reproductive medicine. Her research on embryo implantation prediction using machine learning has been cited 57 times in international scientific publications, including Statistical Methods in Medical Research (Sage Publications).
Research lines focused on reproductive medicine, assisted human reproduction and oocyte donation, with application of molecular biology to clinical research. This includes gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, and the design of clinical protocols in assisted reproduction.
