The German group has certified IVF Spain’s success rates, positioning the clinic well above the Spanish average

The TÜV-certification (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein), one of the most demanding and independent ratings, has certified the success rates of the IVF Spain fertility clinic. Thanks to the rating of the German certification group, IVF Spain has positioned itself among the clinics with the best results – according to 2014 data.

Based on the TÜV Rheinland reports, the IVF Spain clinic has a pregnancy rate of 85% for in-vitro fertilisation treatments using donor eggs (per cycle) whereas the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF) places the Spanish average at 55, 9%.

“It is an enormous satisfaction for IVF Spain to have recognized its commitment and quality through TÜV, one of the most strict technical inspection associations in the world. We underwent strict quality controls to prove pregnancy rates that are well above the average. We believe that our patients deserve reliable rates that allow them to choose freely; therefore, it was essential for us to certify our rates through an independent and with a wide-spread credibility organisation such as TÜV”, states head of the Quality Department of IVF Spain, Carlos Bezos.

Thanks to a laboratory equipped with cutting-edge technology, IVF Spain is able to offer their patients the best solutions. A good example is the preimplantational genetic screening (PGS), which is capable of detecting chromosomal alterations before the implantation of the embryo, thus allowing the development of healthy embryos. TÜV ensures those patients that chose the PGS a pregnancy rate of 70.4% at IVF-Spain, whereas the SEF places the Spanish average at 47.2%.

Finally, in cases of vitrified embryo transfers from egg donation, IVF-Life has a pregnancy rate of 49,7%, whereas the SEF places the Spanish average at 39.7%.
