Certain types of cancers and their treatments can affect fertility in both genders. Fertility preservation can be the answer to keep patient’s fertility in the future.

IVF-Life counts with the latest technology for helping many women and men to fulfil their dreams to become parents despite life’s adversities, like cancer.

Some planning is needed for starting a family project, when it comes to a person suffering from cancer. Fertility refers to the ability to conceive, therefore fertility preservation  rely on those techniques that allows saving reproductive material as eggs, sperm or reproductive tissue in a controlled enviroment, so that person can use them in the future.

Many treatments are available for helping patients to starting a family after or during cancer effects. In any case, providing the right information is key for the patient, in order to properly evaluate their reproductive health and choosing the reproductive treatment made for them.

There are many practices that could be applied during a fertility preservation treatment, like cryopreservation, which is a technique that allows to preserve eggs and embryos, or others treatments that could require surgery or medication.

On the occasion of the World Cancer Day, in this webinar, Dr. Zineb Meski from IVF-Life Madrid will go through aspects concerning fertility preservation, specifically focusing on patients suffering from cancer. At the end, you’ll have the chance to ask all your questions during a final Q&A session.
